On December 10th 2009, IREX launched an invitation to the 12 county libraries participating in Round 1 of Biblionet to include in the program additional local libraries from their counties (Bacau, Bihor, Braila, Constanta, Galati, Harghita, Iasi, Maramures, Neamt, Salaj, Suceava and Valcea).

Each of these county libraries can propose a number of maximum 25 additional local libraries from their counties for which they will have to send factual dates regarding the proposed libraries and a confirmation that they fulfill all the eligibility requirements necessary to participate in the program. This data must be filled in the forms referring to every proposed library and completed on-line by February 5th 2010.

On the list of selected libraries, if applicable, the county library can propose its own headquarters or one of its own branches and/or a branch of a municipal, city or communal library to be included in the program.

The official announcement of the new libraries selected in the program will be made on March 25 2010.
